Easy enough to install. It recommends 2 people to install it but it's really only for the 1st part. Even that can be done by 1 person but will take a little longer. The plastic grooves just need to snap in place to attach the various sides. And you should wait for that ""click"" sound to ensure that it's attached well. Took my daughter and I about 5 minutes to install it. Helped that we've done this before with a bigger & heavier deck box. This 30-gallon plastic box isn't as heavy nor as sturdily made as my other deck box. I can already tell that its plastic material will start fading and even warping from our intense summer heat, if I set this facing south or west. As of now, I have this placed facing north to protect it better until I get a cover for it. It's done well so far from the rain showers we recently got. The inside didn't get wet. I like how well the lid is shut and that I can add a lock on it. I wouldn't sit on top of it, as tempting as it may seem due to its flat lid. I'm storing a couple of our long garden hoses on it. Recommended.

First, I ordered black but I was sent gray. Second, I bought it to replace my last deck storage box but it is no where near the same quality. All the sides are thin and flimsy. Not at all what I was expecting. I would not recommend this is you are wanting a sturdy deck box.
