I put up a black king size bed sheet up on the wall and I had no trouble getting the staples to drive in and hold up the sheet. It was really handy to have a free hand while hanging all the decorations.

Works just fine for tacking up felt paper, typar house wrap, and various other products (plastic, vinyl, etc). So far the only issue that keeps it from a five star review is the staple capacity. One string of staples is a fair amount, but when papering the side of a house, it quickly calls for a reload. (Sort of a specific contractor issue though - and this is geared toward use by a homeowner). Definitely sinks staples and is effective.
