The shampoo and conditioner come in smaller sizes, which makes them super convenient for traveling or just tossing in your bag. It gave me the chance to try out the products without committing to the full size bottles, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are. The formula left my hair feeling clean, soft, and manageable. Definitely a great way to experience the brand and see how it works for your hair.

My only issue is that there are 6 shampoos and 5 conditioners, but that’s okay. My hair feels amazing after each use! These are a great alternative to using bottles! You don’t use too much or too little.

Got these try out for a possible shampoo/ conditioner idea for flying in a couple months. My hair isnt exactly short but not extremely long either. I was worried one shampoo pod wouldn’t get the job done. WRONG. I can probably cut one shampoo pod in half and use one full conditioner each hair wash. Excited to take these on vacation!

Dandruff can be cause by hormonal changes, stress, and more. A flaky, itchy scalp may not always be dandruff. Flaking could be residue from a build-up of hairsprays or other grooming products. If you're experiencing a dry, itchy, flaking scalp that does not improve after using anti-dandruff shampoo/conditioner for 6 weeks you should speak to your doctor. The shampoo one mixed great with water to form a nice gel. The conditioner took a little more work to work into the cream, there were a few chunks that didn’t dissolve. My hair felt great after and I think this is a great product for travel!

It’s not a liquid so tsa didn’t give me any trouble and they also take up way less space than a bottle of both shampoo and conditioner even if they are travel sized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this kit. I initially thought it was travel friendly and a great way to try various shampoos and conditioners by the brand. Unfortunately, this did not work for me at all. Neither of the pads fully dissolved and left a dry, clumpy mess, either in my hair or in the shower. The shampoo at least lathered up and was able to be worked with, but the conditioner was entirely useless. I could hardly get anything out of it, and not even close to what I would’ve needed to quench my hair after the shampoo left it feeling dry.

As you likely already know, the dry feeling can happen if the product doesn’t provide enough moisture for your hair type. We recommend trying a more hydrating option from the GEMZ line to see if that better meets your hair care needs. Regarding them not dissolving completely, we’d like to recommend using lukewarm water and let the GEMZ soak for at least 3 seconds before beginning to lather. The shampoo lathers well with nice scents. The conditioner is another animal. Some of the lighter conditioner pods lather ok. The heavier duty conditioners refuse to turn into a lather. They are more like chunks. You may want to grab a small conditioner bottle and just use the shampoo pods when traveling with these.

I have been buying these for at least 5 years & they are amazing for traveling or even just normal use at home! Each one though different, makes your hair & scale feel cleaner, softer, smoother & healthier. Less plastic means less waste being a pollutant to the earth so I'm all about products like this! Each one has a little hook so you can conveniently hang them up in the shower, which is super cute! I'm glad these are at Target now instead of waiting for the mail. If you go to their website they will send you a plastic bag to put your empty packaging in to send back to them which is their recycling program, it is worth checking out to earn points!
