We got this for a play date and it was a hit! My son worked on another this morning and sat with dad for almost half hour and was so focused! I do wish they added the template for the Halloween designs but we still liked this!

Why aren’t there large patterns included? Kids are supposed to squint at the little picture on the instructions or base it off the front of the box? We usually have better experiences with Mondo Llama products.

I have a four year old that’s very into these bead creations. Like the other review said, there are no full size patterns, just a simple one-page instructions with small pictures of the patterns. My kid has gotten really good at following just a picture so I don’t mind that, but what’s very inconvenient is they don’t even tell you which pegboard to use for each pattern. We learned the hard way in the past, that the pegs are arranged different on the various shaped pegboards, and definitely affects end result if you used wrong one.

The patterns provided inside are only small thumbnail sized images: this is not helpful for young kids. Older children will likely be fine but the whole reason I purchased was for Halloween patterns I didn’t have to find/print/enlarge. This is honestly inconvenient for parents and not worth purchasing if you already have generic melty beads at home.
