I bought this speaker because I wanted something with more presence for barbecues with friends, something more than small speakers. The product comes well packaged and protected in a simple box, with all the necessary accessories. The JBL Partybox Encore Essentials 2 has a premium look and is made of high-quality materials. The sound is SPECTACULAR. Due to the size of its speaker, it reproduces bass very well. With sound pressure, I can't use it at the loud volumes my neighbor complains about. The lighting effects are very good, especially at night. I just missed the white LED that flashes on the top. I haven't used it for karaoke yet, but you can connect a microphone to the back and have fun with family and friends. Finally, I recommend this product if you're tired of those small, lackluster speakers at your parties.

So I picked up the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 and honestly, it’s been such a good fit for me. I can just grab it when I’m heading out for a BBQ, a night with friends, or even just chilling in the garden. It’s small enough to carry around easily, splash-proof so I don’t stress if drinks are flying, and as soon as I turn it on, the sound and lights get everyone’s attention. The bass really thumps, the highs are crisp, and even when I crank it up, the AI sound boost keeps it from getting messy. The battery life is solid too I’ve had it running all evening and it still had juice left. The light show adds that extra bit of fun, and if I want to go bigger, I can just link it up with other JBL speakers thanks to Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast. Honestly, it’s more than just a speaker. It’s like bringing the party with me wherever I go.

We already own the JBL PartyBox 310 and recently added the PartyBox Encore Essential 2 to our setup. We really love the Encore Essential 2 because it’s lightweight and very easy to move around making it our go-to speaker whenever we visit friends’ houses or want to enjoy music in different rooms. It offers a surprisingly clear and balanced sound. While the bass isn’t as powerful or deep as the PartyBox 310, it still performs well for its size. The built-in microphone input is also a great feature, making it perfect for karaoke. I also love that you can pair two units together, which has me considering buying another one.

Connecting my music via Bluetooth was quick and effortless, and swapping between different devices when friends wanted to play their music was just as simple. The sound quality is outstanding – clear, powerful, and easily able to fill a large space. Even in a big room, it felt like we were in a professional nightclub. The build quality also feels solid and durable, giving confidence that it will last. The disco lights, while not quite strong enough to stand alone, did add a fun ambience and complemented the atmosphere well. Overall, I think this speaker offers excellent value for money. It’s easy to use, delivers top-tier sound, and will definitely get plenty of use for parties and gatherings.

Great speaker has a really good sound strategy with the added bass option. Love the quality of sound as well and it’s very easy to pair to your Bluetooth and will instantly connect and play the music that you love. It also has great led colour changing lights which really add to the party vibe and make it a great addition.

Speaker very easy to connect to phone and the quality of sound and bass is amazing! The best one I ever had until now and I don’t think i will change this brand ,ever! Sound-amazing! Bass -amazing! Unwrapping my JBL encore 2 speaker I found simple kit yet everything I would need. It includes speaker, charging cable and microphone. First I downloaded JBL partybox app which is super easy to use so it was very satisfying experience. Then I dived into speaker on it's own. It has cube format, comfortable handle and knobs for volume and RGB modes. At the back of the speaker, a waterproof cover protects the connections, dedicated area for rechargeable battery. Regarding the battery, it's up to 10 hours of autonomy. included microphone also has its own battery. All sound settings you can manage from the app. The sound from this speaker is very pleasant. To conclude on this speaker. It’s not so small and has a lot under the hood. Overall very happy with this speaker. It will travel with me everywhere 👍

The JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 is a mid-sized portable Bluetooth speaker with build in karaoke function perfect for parties, backyard gatherings and other type casual events which makes it great option for indoor and outdoor use. It has IPX4 water resistance so no stress if it's raining or you near water. It's highly portable with build in carrying handle and it lasts over 12 hours on battery with the ring light off which is impressive. This speaker brings well balanced sound and bass which makes experience even better. It supports stereo playback but doesn't have a 360-degree design, so it sounds different depending on your listening angle. As we already have JBL partybox 120 this encore 2 edition will fit our collection nicely. Very happy overall 👍

I’ve been using the JBL Partybox Encore Essential for a while now and honestly, I’m really impressed. For such a compact speaker, it’s super powerful – way more than I expected. I also have the JBL Partybox 120, and to be fair, I can’t hear much difference in sound quality between the two, which is pretty crazy considering the Encore is smaller and easier to move around. One thing I love is how easily it connects to my TV. No hassle, no complicated setup – just works. The battery life is also solid; I’ve had long sessions with it and never had to worry about it dying on me. To be honest, I haven’t found any downsides yet. It just does everything I need: big sound, easy to use, portable, and reliable. Definitely a great speaker if you want party-level sound without dragging around a huge box.

I am absolute blown away by the quality of this speaker. It is so easy to set up. I initially used it in the house to play War of the Worlds and the sound was literally out of this world! Today it was my grand daughter’s birthday party, so I took it along to the hall. They also gad a bouncy castle to play on which was very noisy, however, they were able to hear the music over this. I also played lots of games involving music, so the speaker played a massive part in this. Every adult at the party asked about it, they said they had never heard such good quality coming out of a speaker. I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone.

Love this! The sound quality is really great and the volume is loud! We have really enjoyed learning the app, look and listening to the pre loads sounds and effects. Changing the colours and styles of the lights is great fun when guests are around. It holds it's charge really well and connects to Bluetooth really early just need to download the app. It really is a party in a box. Why only a four star.. at points the bass was a bit tinny, but this could just be the type of music that was being listened too. Apart from that it's a great all round speaker perfect for a charge and go party or even just listening to at home dancing around the kitchen with the family or losing yourself in the music.

This JBL speaker is absolutely fantastic and great for garden parties. You can download the app to your phone and this gives you control over the lights and sound effects. The Bluetooth connection is excellent and always stays connected with no problems at all. The sound quality is very good and even at high levels it’s very clear with no distortion or crackling at all. We go camping quite a lot and take a projector with us and now I can connect this speaker up to the projector which makes it a much better cinema like experience. Overall I would highly recommend this JBL speaker as I believe it offers great value for money.

My first impression was that this is the perfect size and easy to carry wherever I need it. It was easy to set up and was already charged, so I could use it straight away to test. For me, I wanted something that had good sound to use in our garden and travel for when we have social gatherings, and this ticked all the boxes. The lighting system is great for nighttime for a party vibe! The connection to Bluetooth was quick. There are also ports to plug in a microphone and guitar if needed. I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone wanting a sound system with great sound and that isn't too big.
