Nylabone Power Chew Donut

My boy is a super tough chewer toys usually last seconds to days but so far 3 weeks in and we still have a good usable toy. I feel like my dog personally likes to destroy his toys because they're usually more squishy, so the hard material has deterred him from destroying this Donut Power Chewer Toy. Great prices too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Anything in our house resembling “durable” gets hijacked by my 5-year-old pit bull (who thinks all things are his by birthright). So when I handed this over to my pittie willingly, his face lit up like he just discovered bacon grows on trees. He has officially claimed this toy for the last month, and in doing so, has saved my daughter’s overpriced stuffed animals from being “surgically de-fluffed” It’s durable, bright orange (so I don’t step on it and invent new curse words at 2 a.m.), and apparently deliciously chewable. Highly recommend—10/10, would let my dogs donut again. 🍩🐾

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our big mastiff loved this until he absolutely destroyed it. I can’t say that a mastiff is the standard to judge the durability on, but it definitely held up pretty well.

It is a very effective chew toy and even smells like food! It is a heavy duty toy so not suitable for small dog breeds. But perfect for dogs 50+ lbs!

I usually purchase the small bones and was curious if she would like this better. It has lasted a lot longer for sure. She seems to really enjoy the flavor.

My dog is large and powerful and has spent several days chewing this to little effect. It does has some minor chew marks but seems to be holding up well. It's a heavy and solid chew toy, perfect for large breed dogs. We are quite happy with this chew toy and anticipate it lasting for many chew sessions to come.

She loves chew toys and tearing them apart except this one. Could work for other dogs who are not as picky with toys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is pretty strong. It’s hard as a rock, but durable. My senior dog loves it, but my pup doesn’t really care for it and she’s the most destructive. But if my older dog loves it, I know most will. Great toy for destructive dogs.

However she did not want any part of this and wouldn’t not even bite it. She licked it a few times and walked away from it. I think it had little to no flavor/smell and was way too hard to be a chew toy. I even had my sisters dog try it who tears through even more toys and her dog did the same.

The toy does seem very well made and would hold up to a lot of chewing. It might be a little big for my dog but would be good for bigger dogs. Flavor wise I’m assuming it tastes like what it says but I wouldn’t be sure since it’s not for me to chew on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 extra large German shepherds and they are very rough on toys when playing. However this Nylabone Chew Toy is built exceptionally well! They have played with it nonstop and it has yet to have the slightest flaw. I would absolutely recommend this to owners of big fur members! What a great value this is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nylabone dog chew is very tough, so it can't be torn to pieces if you have a heavy chewer. My dog is 50lbs and loves to deconstruct toys, so this one holds up perfectly with her. She did sniff it a while and was pretty hesitant at first - I'm not sure if the scent threw her off or what. I personally didn't think it had an overpowering smell, but dogs are a little more sensitive. It has some weight to it, so if you or the dog drops it it will clunk the floor (or your toes so watch out!). There is no give whatsoever to it, so it is really quite solid. This is not my dogs favorite toy, however. She doesn't seem to gravitate to it as much as her other toys. But it is definitely a durable toy option.

It is a great size and seems to last for a decent amount of time. I did however receive pumpkin and peanut butter instead of the bacon one. Overall, I would buy this.

My dog took to it right away and seems to be enjoying it! However, it is make of such hard material I am afraid that it will hurt my dog’s teeth! However…Nylabone has been a reliable brand in the past so I’m hoping they’ll be ok!
