I am a long time loyal, and happy Target customer and I usually don’t complain over small things like bananas. However, I’ve noticed a reoccurring issue with the bananas. I order these organic bananas weekly for pick-up but too often they arrive overripe and bruised (see photo -purchased 10/1/25). This seems like a low point for the fresh produce and standards I’ve come to expect from Target. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I usually have good experiences with Target drive-up, but this time I was very disappointed. I ordered Good & Gather Organic Bananas, but the ones I received were in poor condition — bruised, dark at the ends, and already past their best. When I order produce for drive-up, I trust that the shopper will pick items with care, as I would if I were in the store. Unfortunately, these bananas did not meet that standard. Please ensure more attention is given to selecting fresh produce for customers using drive-up. I will be returning them and probably not buy produce ever at target.

I placed an order for pick up from Target this morning. In that order, I purchased a bunch of Good & Gather bananas. The bunch that was selected for my order had 8 bananas. 3 of those bananas were so damaged/bruised. I noticed the damage as soon as I pulled them out of the bag so I am unsure how it was overlooked by the person who chose them!
