I wish I read the reviews before buying- I took ran out of thread and I feel like I try really hard to use the yarn efficiently. If you buy it maybe just substitute yarn right from the beginning.

Super cute but almost every single color there was not enough thread to complete the project. ADD MORE THREAD, i can't adequately describe how frustrating this is. I had to sub in embroidery floss. Pictured is the thread i have left to finish the last corner. Say a prayer to all the gods😑 that being said it's very cute but I will have to put a lining over the needlepoint so it doesn't get messed if you actually want to use this pouch.

This is a great little kit. Easy to follow if you are a beginner or someone interested in learning how to do needlepoint. The only issue I had was there was not enough thread. I had a hard time matching it up so I had to order another kit just to get the extra thread I needed to finish the project.

it is a good kit, and i do realized the thread runs really fast!!! so i just tried my best to count every stitch. i think that is the only problem.

Very very cute but ran out of yarn on multiple colors. Project references embroidery, cross stitch and needlepoint on packaging and instructions; it’s needlepoint. Eye of provided needle is a little bit small for yarn size, making threading tough. I contacted cust. service; to receive a refund you’d have to return the item 😂 compromised on a partial refund so I could keep my started project, which I will apply toward a second kit.

Cute idea but not enough thread at all, and the canvas catches the thread every time you try to pull it through. Never seen that happen before.

Adorable concept- not enough thread! I wish I had read the reviews before I spent hours stitching only to run out of thread. I would have used my own thread and now I am out of the thread the kit came with. I guess I either have to buy a new kit or see if they Mondo Llama can send me more thread?

The actual canvas is so rough that it snags the threads and they do not give you enough thread. I even went in knowing I’d be short and trying to conserve as much as possible and still didn’t have enough.

Super cute design but not enough material to complete the pattern. I started a return online and a new one was shipped so I should have enough to complete one and then use different thread for the other. A needle with a larger eye would be helpful for the yarn-like thread as well.

The quality of the thread in this kit makes it genuinely unusable. I’m an experienced embroiderer and cross stitcher and I was unable to pull the “thread” they provide in the kit through the material for the pouch more than ten times. It knots and snags and becomes impossible to use.

This is such a cute design, and affordable at $17. The 2 things I wish were different are a better higher quality fabric on the back of the bag ( it’s a cheap polyester velvet, cotton would be nice), and more thread. You should be strategic with your thread and plan out your path so you use as little of each color as possible.
