The Tripp Lite® by Eaton® TLP74RB offers economical AC surge suppression for protection of workstations, desktop PCs, telecom systems, and other sensitive electronics like printers, scanners, routers, etc. Built-in AC surge suppression shields connected equipment from damage and performance problems due to transient surges. TLP74RB offers 7 total outlets (6 are right angled and the 7th is the designated transformer plug outlet), 4-ft. cord, and diagnostic LED to warn of suppressor damage. AC suppression rated at 1,080 Joules shields equipment from surges and line noise. Keyhole slots on bottom panel provide convenient wall or desk mounting options._

Have always used Tripp-Lite very well made , secure connections ,always managed to protect from power surge several times over. They finally failed due to direct lighting strike. After years of use I would say all of the company units are worth the price. They stand by their products Customer Service was understanding and just plain GREAT!

I have this hooked up to a 43 inch tv, Blu ray and a Bose home theater system. It is just fine. Verified with Bose that it would be adequate for this system. Love the shorter 4 foot cord!

Feels well-built, and works as expected. Cable length is just right for my use. I appreciate the end outlet facing opposite for power bricks or angled cables, but not currently using it. The problem with reviewing this compared to a standard power strip is that I cannot test the capability for it to prevent surge destruction. I cannot test Tripp-Lite's $25,000 protection guarantee. I've experienced surges in the past, and expect to experience them in the future, so I hope that extra star is earned, which I'll be more than happy to give my business to Tripp-Lite again if it does!
