Maybe my expectations were too high. I drink green tea lattes often and this version did not measure up to anything I've tried anywhere. The sweetness was the only thing they got right. Not too sweet so I appreciated that. The color was odd, the drink tasted like grass or some random herbs, not matcha. Califia usually has great products from their milks to their coffees so this version of a matcha was a little disappointing. I would not try this again.

This used to be my favorite store bought matcha drink. But they changed the formula and it's not drinkable anymore. It doesn't taste good at all and they put too much splenda. I had to throw out the entire bottle.

I was really spending a lot on Matcha Tea before my afternoon cardio and was excited to try this product, I'd say after drinking a lot of this over two weeks I find it a 4 star to compare to 5 star with a little added lavender from a coffee shop. I do like that it contains caffeine to replace my diet soda for morning and matcha does not give me jitters. Also of this product I find it to be an excellent amount of calcium. My only reason I gave for stars is I took prefer if it was organic without extra additives.

Total waste of money. Tastes nothing like a matcha latte from a tea shop or from Starbucks for that matter. Tastes like plant milk blended with grass. It also could use more sugar, and I tend to order blended drinks with less sugar.

I always laugh when people say matcha is grass milk … but this tastes like grass milk. Not good at all. Had a very strange taste. Maybe because it’s plant based?? Would not recommend for those who truly love matcha.

This is more like artificially sweetened green almond milk. It was thick (yes, I shook it), tasted mainly of stevia leaf, and coated my mouth unpleasantly. I poured out my glass after a couple of big sips.

I love the sweet matcha drinks that I get at the Japanese restaurants which are mostly made from a lot more matcha powder, ice water and very little cream or milk. This taste like it's mostly made from cream or milk with very little matcha. Matcha drinks do have a bitter taste that I like. I did find out that I enjoy this drink frozen ! But, I eat it with a spoon and it taste great as a icy snack !!

I just bought the matcha flavored Latte and it's very bland tasting compared to many other matcha drinks that I have had. It needs a lot more matcha otherwise it just taste bland with a hint of matcha. I notice not many are buying it at the store I shop at.

This product doesn’t deserve any stars. Luckily I had sweetener at home and bought some cold foam to add in there. Otherwise it wouldn’t have even been tolerable. It tastes like a bitter chemical and isn’t worth the cost or the time that it takes to doctor it up.

I was really excited to try this product, especially as a fan of the brand's other offerings. Unfortunately, the matcha just didn't meet my expectations. I'm not entirely sure what went wrong—whether it was the flavor, texture, or something else—but it just didn't work for me. I genuinely enjoy the rest of the product line, but this one was a miss. Sadly, I wouldn’t purchase it again.
