This is my second Cuisinart food processor. My first Cuisinart lasted for 35 years and I could not be without one. So happy with my new purchase.

I did not like this product at all. I saw America's Test Kitchen said it was the Best, but to me, not so much. The instructions did not explain the locking mechanism for the blades (I had to figure out on own-took long while). Everything has to be cut down to 1 inch in order to get the shute to lock in the back pole. My kitchen was a mess from all the cuttings. I'm very disappointed in Cusinart, and I usually like Cusinart. I have all the pots/pans. Please improve, or make this processor more customer friendly and easy. (The shute was very combersome). Sorry, I returned for my refund. (I am not sure if my older model was Cuisinart, but if it was, I loved that one till I broke it).

Very easy to clean after use and the design is such that there is not any food entrapment, which I have found with many other brands of food processors. I particularly like its stability and the pulsing function which gives a lot of control over prep of various foods of varying densities.

I was heartbroken when my cuisinart food processor needed to be replaced after 40 years!!! I believed the newer model would never be as good because “they just don’t make things like they used to!” How delightful to be wrong. My new Cuisinart is larger, stronger, quieter and easier to clean than the original. I couldn’t be happier and hope to be around for another 40 years to enjoy it!!!

I can't say enough about how incredible this machine is. I've had mine for 39 years and it's still going strong. It's the most fantastically designed and durable thing I've ever purchased. Nothing else comes close. I'm in awe every time I use it. I can't stop talking about it to my friends. I don't even know how you guys stay in business selling something that lasts so long. Even though I bought my almost 40 years ago, it's still a better product than anything on the market. I'm very grateful your company has such integrity to make something this good. I've never bought a product of any kind with this quality. So ahead of it's time. It does everything. I recently bought the part that grates parmesan cheese and your machine is a beast. I was also thrilled that I can buy a new disc and it still fits my machine. Mad respect for your company! I can't thank you enough.
Need better instructions on how to assemble

My previous Cuisinart food processor is almost 25 years old and I loved it. But I need a new work bowl and there are no replacements now. So I ordered this new one and I’ve had to use YouTube to try and figure out how to assemble it. I cannot get the large pusher to push through the work bowl lid. The booklet that was included gives no assembly instructions!!! I spent entirely too much time trying to figure this out so I’ve returned it. I’m sooo disappointed because it has great reviews but please Cuisinart! Include assembly in your product manual.

Piece of crap that won’t even start. Everything is locked into place correctly. Tried resetting the motor with the button on the base. It was brand new too. Don’t waste your money.

This is the same quality as the cuisinart it replaced after 30 years. BTW the old machine didn't break down, I just couldn't find replacement parts for a machine that old. But this new machine feels like it was made by the same standards as the old one. It can literally handle anything you could throw at it, including kneeding bread dough!
We love this so far! Large capacity is awesome.

We used this to process 100 lbs of tomatoes for salsa, tomato soup, tomato sauce and to,stores, garlic and onions for chili beans. It worked excellent! I like that it has a pulse option as well as just, on. With the pulse option I can get my ingredients exactly how I like them. Also it is huge so it does a lot at a time saving a lot of time. I like that it comes with a great warranty too. We haven’t used the slicing feature yet but I’m sure it’ll be just as good as the processor blade.

Bought this to replace an original that's been passed down. This has a stronger motor and better bowl. If you're thinking of replacing your old machine, this is the one to go to.
The gold standard for food processors.

This food processor has been the gold standard by America's Test Kitchen as well as many others for many years for a good reason, its simply the best. The design hasn't changed since its inception for a reason, they engineered and built it correctly the first time and you can't improve on such a simple device except by using maybe better materials. The second reason this is the best food processor is for the same reason. Since the design hasn't changed since its inception, you can find a replacement for any part that may possibly break. Most manufacturers are constantly changing designs and discontinuing designs and there are no replacement parts available. Buy once, buy for life, or at least buy something that will last for many years and be the best at what it does.
Food Processor Made Easy

I've found this food processor easy to use. I read some people complained about putting the lid on, I had no problems you just need to line it up in the back turn and let it click into place. The first thing I made to test it out was my Blue-berry Lemon Energy Balls. Worked like a charm. It's a nice size as well in case you need to make larger batches without overloading.
It does it all!

I love this food processor. The motor is quiet, the blades sharp, and I especially like that it can chop a few cloves of garlic without me having to get out my mini food processor. It's heavy but heavy enough that I can't move it to my cupboard. It's also easy to clean.

A replacement for the one I had for >15 years. It works so wonderfully and is definitely worth the price. I use it to save myself from all the chopping of veggies for soup, making baby food puree, hummus, pesto, shred a block or cheese, what else? It's a fantastic must-have for the home cook.
