Q: It says it has dishwasher safe parts, but when I got it, the box says none of the parts are dishwasher safe. So…can it be washed in a dishwasher or not? I’m confused.

A: The parts for the Dash Shaved Ice Maker are dishwasher safe on the top rack of an unheated cycle. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend hand washing the parts in warm soapy water rather than risk them warping or melting in the dishwasher. I hope this helps!

These are very cheap and the ice constantly gets stuck underneath the mechanism. You have to keep dumping out ice and resetting everything. My child is afraid to use it. It takes a very long time to make even one cup, maybe 5-10 minutes. Ours just broke yesterday the plastic just chipped off and it will no longer turn on
