The screen is outdated. You have to provide your own batteries, so the battery life will depend on which batteries you choose. The laptop-to-tablet flip design is fun and keeps my child interested, and there are so many activities—math, spelling, music, geography—that it feels like they’re learning without even realizing it. I also like that it doesn’t need any extra setup or software, you just pop in a couple AA batteries (not included) and it’s ready to go. It’s lightweight and easy to take along in the car or on trips, which is a big plus. The keyboard is a nice feature too—it’s good practice for real computer skills. The only minor downside is that the screen is pretty basic, not like a tablet or iPad, so don’t expect bright graphics. Also, since it runs on batteries, you’ll want to keep extras on hand if your kid plays with it a lot. Overall though, it’s a solid educational toy that’s both fun and useful. My child enjoys it, and I feel like it’s helping them learn at the same time—so that’s a win in my book!

It is such a great learning toy she stated on it for over an hour took a break from it and went back to play it more. He love doing the bigger than under the math section and he likes filling in the letter on the spelling words for animals. He starts kindergarten in a few days and I think this will be a huge asset for him. I love that it shuts itself off when inactive to save battery life.
