Graco Pack 'n Play Rock 'n Grow Playard - Hamilton

The bassinet is wonderful for newborn naps—it feels safe, sturdy, and keeps my little one close by during the day. The changing table is a huge convenience; it’s the perfect height, wipes clean easily, and saves me from running back and forth to the nursery. The rocking seat is my favorite feature. It detaches from the Pack ’n Play so I can move it around the house, and the gentle rocking motion helps soothe my baby right to sleep. I also love that the seat can be used both in and out of the Pack ’n Play, giving me flexibility depending on where we are. Overall, the design is thoughtful, durable, and makes caring for my baby so much easier. Having all these features in one product really saves space and time. I highly recommend it to any parent who wants practicality without sacrificing comfort or quality!

The pack n play is necessity for every parent out there. We’ve used this set in our room for a bassinet, and the attachments come in so handy. We use the one attachment in our living room as a “changing station” to ensure our furniture stays clean. The side storage comes in so handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I recently purchased the Graco Pack 'n Play, thinking it would be a convenient all-in-one solution for my little one. While the overall build quality seemed good and it was relatively easy to set up, I was quite disappointed to discover that the elevated portion, which looks like a bassinet, is actually not intended for infant sleeping. This was a major letdown as a bassinet was one of the key features I was looking for. It's a bit misleading, as the design strongly suggests a bassinet function. However, upon closer inspection of the manual, it became clear that this higher level is only for diaper changing or play. This lack of a true bassinet made the Pack 'n Play less versatile for my needs, especially for those early months when having baby close by in a raised sleeping space is so helpful. Ultimately, I ended up returning this model and opting for the Graco Dream 'n Play instead, which does include a proper bassinet. While the standard Graco Pack 'n Play seems like a decent playard, potential buyers should be aware that it lacks a dedicated sleeping bassinet feature. If a bassinet is a must-have for you, I'd recommend looking at other Graco models like the Dream 'n Play or ensuring the specific Pack 'n Play you choose explicitly states it includes a sleeping bassinet.

I bought this for my grandchild to be comfortable when staying with me. The mattress is hard as a rock and the dimensions are not standard playard size so there is no mattress pad, topper, or even decent sheets for this product. Creating a makeshift mattress pad or topper would be unsafe. I deeply regret buying this.

This is where Graco is messing up. Why are you over engineering everything? The seat is 5 stars, amazing, great job! Why does it need to attach to a pack n play? Why can’t you sell this seat stand alone without the awkward top piece to attach to the pack n play? You sell one stand alone type bouncer chair with awful reviews bc you tried to turn it into a jumper. The pack n play crib portion is also annoying on this product bc it’s smaller and non standard to accommodate the seat. Stop trying to make all your products into “multi use”, you are missing the mark. Don’t even get me started on your swings.

Moving with a baby of few months old was tough but the portable pack n play made it easier. After looking at the displays of different pack n plays, I picked this one because it looked more durable. Sadly, this product was recalled for the inverted bassinet being a safety risk for babies. Mini organizer was very nice to have available on the side of the changing pad. It lasted me until baby out grew it by age of 2. Around that same time, I noticed that the playard was very uncomfortable. Next time I will buy a soft cushion mat with fitting measurements to increase baby's comfort. Don't get me wrong, I found it very versatile for baby to sleep in as growing and it was worth my money. However, I would only purchase the Graco Pack n Play On The Go Playard because the bassinet and changing pad was dysfunctional.

Easy to setup and breakdown. Durable. Handy compartments. Lightweight and compact enough for car travel. Downside is no baby wants to sleep on the hard as rock “mattress” pad and there’s no safe replacement out there for this size pack n play. I don’t recommend trying to use as a travel crib. Great as a play pen though.

No fun assembling - terrible drawings accompanying instructions

Thought I loved this….but I was wrong. Where in the actual heck do you find a mattress that isn’t a sheet of paper to fit this thing?! Super frustrated that this is smaller than your average pack n play so NO mattress’ can fit. I’m now going to have to buy a new pack n play to travel with my daughter.

Purchased as a gift for my new grandson arriving in July so can give no feedback at this time.

This is exactly what we needed for our newest foster baby. She love it and we love having her close at all times. The detachable chair is so convenient for keeping baby near and in our sights all day all around the house. We purchased a different option from another company and when I found this one I knew it would serve us so much better so we donated our (new-ish) older one.

I absolutely love it!!!!!! There was no need no ween baby from our bed we put him in there and he instantly loved. Highly recommend his favorite part is the rocker/chair will always buy graco 3 kids later and they’ve never let me down!!

Our baby did not care for our bassinet to sleep in, so we bought this multipurpose pac n play. It is super easy to put together. Moving it around from room to room is easy as well. Our little one loves sleeping in both the bouncer and inside on the mat. Definitely a win with the added changing station.

Love Graco purchased Rock n Grow for my grand baby due in August. Very easy to assemble and take apart for travel.

I honestly don't understand how this pack n play is not more popular - it is GREAT. I'm a first time parent, and I'm so glad I picked this. Baby is now 5 months old and I've used every feature. The changing table - great, sturdy, easy to clean and access, as well as the side caddy (I've put SO MUCH STUFF in there!). Super helpful for night changes. The bassinet setting - excellent. I had an unplanned csection and was able to pick up and lay down the baby easily. Once she reached the weight limit I set it down to the base level. Still good, no issues, as she can be laid down awake for sleep. But my favorite feature is the rocker/recliner. The canopy we could not figure out how to put on correctly, but we've been using it indoors, so doesn't much matter. This seat is lightweight and easy to carry while also carrying the baby to wherever you need to use it (while using the bathroom, showering, folding laundry, cooking, eating, etc.) especially once baby is a little more alert and it isn't safe to leave them on a floor/activity mat while doing something else, or you have a two story home and don't want to reset the floppy/large mat, or you have pets and can't leave the baby unattended at all, even to go #1. I also love the different sit/laying settings, that it can be set to rock (or not), it has vibration, and can be used for a toddler. My one gripe with this pack n play is that the mattress is an odd size - the fitted sheets will fit but need to stretch it over the mattress while the its laid flat on something or it be buckled and the sheet wont be as flat as it should be, but it can be done.

Excellent choice for when our grand baby comes over. So convenient to have the changing pad and the vibrating seat and a great place for him to sleep. Easy to move around too. We’ve recommended to our friends for their grand babies.

The mattress is very thin and the fabric is noisy, whenever baby moves head it makes noise. The sheets made by graco do not fit snug and are unsafe to use at all. I’m trying to find a different mattress that will fit because she has outgrown the small bassinet we have but still sleeps in our room

I thought the seat was actually a bassinet.. but it's not, there's a seatbelt in there as well. It's not to be used for sleeping. Oops. Which kind of makes it difficult because you have to remove both the seat and the changing table to use the bassinet? But then where does the changing table go? It doesn't sit up by itself... Also hard to find sheets that fit this, I bought the Graco ones and they kind of work but don't fit super snug like you'd hope. Overall I guess it wasn't exactly what I bought it for. The canopy we could not figure out for the seat... Instruction were okay, not the best.

I am a mother of two: a toddler girl and an infant boy. I haven’t had a chance to actually travel with the Pack ’n Play yet, but from my experience traveling with my first when she was a baby, I think this would be a great solution for travel. It has everything needed for sleep, playtime, diaper changes, and lounging. The Pack ’n Play is very well built. It seems like it will hold up for years to come, certainly long enough for future children. Right now I’m using the playard in bassinet mode for my son to sleep in, and it has been wonderful. I really liked the storage caddy for storing diapers and wipes for nighttime diaper changes. It’s also super convenient to use as a safe place to store a few toys when baby’s sleeping so that they aren’t in his sleep space, and then they’re readily available to give to him when he wakes up. I used the seat on the playard, around the house, and out in my yard. I love that it has the shade to keep sunlight off my baby’s face and the vibration to soothe him—it’s one of my son’s favorite places to lounge. It’s easy to switch back and forth between a stable seat and the rocking. The seat adjusts to fit newborns, infants, toddlers, and possibly even smaller children, so my children have taken turns in it. We all love it! It will be great for traveling, visiting family, going for picnics, and more. It’s really durable and well designed, and with how long each child can use it, I’m excited to use it for years and years to come! One thing that I would like to see improved for this Pack ’n Play is ease of transporting and storing all the different parts. The storage/carry bag only holds the basic playard—it doesn’t even have space for the bassinet piece or the changing table attachments. Having a second bag to put all the accessories into would be ideal. My only other complaint was the difficulty of assembling the rocking chair. It was a bit more difficult than I thought it would be. (I’m a pretty handy person usually. I worked in a bicycle store for a few years.) The instructions weren’t very specific, and it was especially difficult to put the shade on. Other than that, it was pretty easy to figure out, especially since I had previous experience with other playards. I really love the versatility of this playard, and that it is one purchase that covers a lot of needs for babies: a place to sleep, a place to play, a place for diaper changes, and a place to lounge and relax. It seems very safe, and it’s very convenient. I’m excited to travel with it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a baby, especially if they want to travel.
