Q: Can you clean the ice bucket with soap (ie. Dawn) and water? Spot clean really won't clean/sanitize the bucket?

Q: What would cause the lid to develop a bunch of dull spots on its top and bottom. The rest looks perfect. They don't rub off so it appearsvas if the finish is gone in those areas.

A: Hi Cathy R - This item does not have an applied finish, like a paint or a lacquer. The surface is stainless steel, with a brushed or polished texture. Things that could cause the appearance to change could be deposits from the guest’s water or detergent. If the guest is putting the lid in the dishwasher, that could cause etching of the surface texture, which could also change the appearance. - Faith

1st ice bucket did not have the ice scoop - I complained and Target sent a replacement and the scoop holder was broken off the side of the bucket, also leaving sharp points that cut my hand! Does no one inspect products before shipping to customers - - 2 deliveries - 2 absolute defective products!

The ice bucket and scoop are of good quality. I was happy that the scoop was designed with holes to scoop just ice and no water. However, the scoop was not designed for this bucket, because you cannot turn it up in the bucket, and the ice falls everywhere ☹️
