Great Lego set for Jaws lovers!

Fantastic. Watched the film while building. Have noticed the colours in the books that I've had lately are making it difficult to see and I need a torch at times, but that could just be my failing eyesight as I get older! An excellent set that I thoroughly enjoyed building.

I adore this set, it looked so cute and so good. After saving up I bought it and got it. Its a bit pricey but I think the value is worth it. The building experience was amazing, watching Jaws, Jaws 2 and for the lols, Jaws the revenge. I had a blast. The set itself looks amazing, the three minifigures are perfect, the Orca is amazing looking and has so much details and Easter eggs. Bruce looks amazing, 3 different display options with having his own base. The base with the boat and no stand or base at all being able to freely move him around is amazing. I cant find any flaws with it. I love it to much!

I feel like over the last few builds the overall quality has gone down drastically. The biggest thing in my opinion is the like multi use brick idea and you get less brick for more money now

I grew up watching the Jaws films so when I saw this set it really did just have to get it. Has to be one of my favourite builds to date. As some have said it is a bit fiddly at times. The front portion of the boat is very delicate as there is very little internal support, as such on two occasions an internal component came loose so I had to take apart, rectify and reassemble the entire front portion. Then shortly after, once all the delicate bits are finally in place, you have to turn the whole build on its side to add some pieces underneath the boat. A massive flaw in the order of the instructions in my opinion, no reason as to why they couldn’t rearrange a few steps to make life easier and ensure the build stays in tact. Even with that said, I thoroughly enjoyed this build. There’s plenty of pieces to it, at times you really have to pay attention to get it right, and I really felt like I got my moneys worth. I find Lego are quite hit and miss with their pricing, but this set really is worth every penny. Looks great when built, love the fact that you’ve got a couple of options as to how you display it and it gets plenty of comments from guests. Would recommend to any Jaws fan.

I really would have liked to have given this set five stars as I am a big fan of the film and it is a set full of great details from the film like the minifigures' accessories and film accurate clothes. However, the bow is very frustrating to put together, having come back to the hobby as an adult and having built two sets recently I don't think my issue was my lack of familiarity with the process of building. The two little blue pieces in the bow, parts 6092674, kept falling off under pressure despite a number of attempts to get them to hold in place. In the end I removed them from the build, something I have not done with another Lego set. I would urge Lego to do some kind of a redesign on the bow to make it sturdier. The mast is also a bit too flexible and flimsy for its height. On the plus side the mix of white, red and pink bricks inside the shark was excellent. The use of the three claws or rock fingers for the waves and shepherd staffs for the Orca's ladder was very clever. With a revision of the bow build this could be a five star set.

More of a question than a review, any tips on getting jaws to stay in the water? Seems like it doesn’t match up with the tail portion already in the water, unless his mouth is resting on the boat? Unless it was designed this way, but I don’t think so. Help!

I am at my 3rd failed attempt at mounting the shark to the base. It does not easily fit as shown. Every attempt I make pieces fall off. This is the most disappointed I have been with a Lego product. For the 4th time, I am going to dis-assmeble and try to re-assmble and hope it can be done without bricks falling off. The design seems poor and needs improvements for mounting "Jaws"

This is an awesome Lego set- except it was missing 2 bags to make the shark part. So we will have to disassemble and send it back.

I love this kit - the gear on the boat and fidelity to the movie boat are awesome - my favourite kit so far from this perspective! But the bow construction desperately needs a rework. As many reviewers have said, the bow structure depends on a one stud connection on each side between the 6301857/11477 plate with bow and a 1x6 plate, that collapses into a million pieces with little pressure, like when attaching the side hull or angled pieces to the bottom. I bought mine about nine months ago and I see in looking at the building instructions online that LEGO has now engineered what looks like a more stable bow structure. I probably have the pieces on hand to do this myself but LEGO should really make it available for free to anyone who has purchased the kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The detail in this Lego said is amazing. My family and I spent an entire week putting it together and kind of just wanna display it forever. Jaws has always been a nostalgic movie in our house and it was a real treat to do this as a family fun night.

Target did an excellent job of packaging this Jaws Lego set. It arrived In perfect condition. If Target packed action figures, Blu rays, and 4K steelbooks this way they would never have to do any returns. Thank you Target!

It has creative building techniques and highly detailed

I love that it's Jaws because it's such a classic! What do I dislike? The hull is ome big pain in the behind to put together! The order in which you put it together was VERY poorly thought through. Each step that follows after the basic construction is pretty much designed to make the thing fall apart. Make sure you have an endless pool (or ocean?) of patience to get through this project! Oh, and make sure you don't have long nails!

This set needed to be spend more time in the design lab before release. It is an incredibly fragile build. The bow especially is a tedious experience. For the cost, this needed to bei much better. I recommend gluing some of the more problem areas together (you will quickly figure out which ones those are) which should never be the case for a Lego set.

I used have a lego set when I was little, but it was just one of those red suitcases with three slots filled with bricks. I've been looking for something that can help with my anxiety and got lured here by the one piece sets. Then I saw JAWS which is my comfort movie. So much has changed since I used to play with legos! But the instructions are great, and having thirteen bags for each chunk of the build allows to focus only on accomplishing that part, and at the end success! It's really helpful for me.
