I had been looking for a butter keeper like this, and this one exceeded my expectations! It’s heavy marble, great quality with a good seal. I liked mine so much that when it went on sale soon after I bought it—for $11!! I couldn’t resist buying one for each of my adult kids as gifts. (They inherited my love of spreadable butter : )

Beautiful heavy weight "stone " is nice. Capacity of container for the butter is ridiculously small. Like 2 tablespoons. I don't feel like adding butter every single day. I prefer a container that can hold at least 1/2 cup. I do not recommend

Not food safe at all. I have tried using it multiple times over the last 6 months and the butter always ends up stained from the marble and tasting strange (wasted a lot of expensive irish butter in the process). Now the marble smells like rancid butter. I only gave 2 stars because it is cute and I will keep it as decoration if I can get the smell out. Otherwise, save your money.

I was looking for a butter bell and they were all like at least $20 on Amazon and they look like they belong in a rustic country farmhouse which isn’t my vibe. Then I found this beauty and it was cheaper than the others, perfect. It is nice and sturdy because it’s marble which makes it heavy but it just sits on my counter which is fine. Super cute and a good deal.

Like the look but would return if I didnt throw away the packaging. This is marble, which absorbs odors and I forgot that when I purchased this in store. Even after washing it, it smelled like chemical and after putting my half stick of butter in it, my butter smelled and tasted just like the chemical scent. Would not recommend. I bought a ceramic one instead, those are 1000% better than marble butter bells.

I am giving this 3 stars because of how it looks. It also works as it is supposed to, keeping the butter fresh on the counter. The problem is that it does not hold enough butter. Most butter crocks hold a whole stick of butter. This crock holds only a half. I am not a big butter user, but my husband is. It seemed like I was refilling this every other day.
