The MYQ-SGC2WCH has a magnetic mounting, so the camera can effortlessly attach to metal surfaces like garage door openers, shelves, or your fridge using the magnetic base. My biggest complaint is the sleep schedule for the camera. I gives me only 3 choices: 2 hour, 4 hour, AND UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING! That's kinda dumb. I was to be able to pause it until a chosen time sometime in the late afternoon or evening when I plan to. Otherwise it gives me nuisance alarms or doesn't monitor in the evening when I forget to unsleep it from the Next Morning sleep setting. Otherwise it works good, does the detections properly, easy to set up, etc.

If your myQ cameras push to talk feature is not working properly, ensure the following: Open the myQ app and go to the Home screen. Tap on your Camera. If needed, tap View Camera to continue. Tap the Play symbol to begin live streaming. Note: In order to use two-way audio, you must be live streaming. Press and hold the Push To Talk microphone symbol Push To Talk Microphone Symbol to talk. Note: While holding the button, you won’t hear audio from the camera. Release it to listen. Tap the Volume icon to mute or unmute the talk-back volume. Note: Your phone controls the camera’s volume level. Push To Talk allows for two-way communication between cameras and mobile devices. This feature gives you the ability to speak with people or pets that you are viewing on the camera in real time. Love that it has a magnetic backing that can be attached to anything metal (but make sure that the metal is heavy for the camera to stick to) Have it right above my kitchen door and was able to get a long enough extension cord to plug it by my washing machine. Love the fact that it’s wireless and so far so good!

The hook up and attachment to the app was seamless and very easy. I bought the garage door opener too and I can not get it to attach to our garage door opener. So I am a little disappointed in that.
