Usually products that are labeled "fights odor causing bacteria" isn't antiperspirant because clogging the sweat pores on your body isn't fighting bacteria, it just stops sweat altogether. Clogging your sweat pores isn't good for the body, but I understand why some people might need this option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since this is only deodorant and not also an antiperspirant, definitely don’t recommend using if you’re super active. I did enjoy using this at night (I usually skip deo for bedtime to let my out pores breathe) because it smells so good. But when you’re active, you just feel wet because not only are you sweating, the deo warms up and feels wet on your skin too. I only use this now at night or on low activity days.

It feels great on my skin but I do not feel as confident using this deodorant as I do with others containing aluminum. It doesn’t last all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who frequently gets migraines from scents, I can be very particular about what products I am willing to use. The “Sea Salt and Cedar” scent by Native is a definite 10 out of 10. It’s not too strong, it smells fresh (but also natural), and the cedar gives it a seductive edge. If that were my only consideration, hands-down, I would purchase this deodorant every day. However, I tend to be on the sweatier side, so my expectations for deodorant is that I remain smelling fresh for as long as possible. When trying out Native’s deodorant, I used it for several days and tried variations of the applications to see if it would yield a different result. For example, some days I applied the deodorant the night before, other days I applied just in the morning, and I also tried applying at both times. In my experimentation, I noticed strong body odor within 24 hours. For reference, my typical deodorant usually holds off BO until 36 to 48 hours for me. Due to this reason, I don’t foresee myself purchasing more deodorant from Native. I think that for folks who don’t sweat as heavy as I do, this is a fantastic aluminum-free option that smells wonderful. That said, it’s just not the right match for my needs.

Native deodorant is an awesome aluminum-free deodorant that works for me all day, most days. They have a bunch of scents, but I really dig the salt and cedar one. It's a chill, kinda masculine scent, but it's not too strong. The packaging is also pretty clean, which is a plus. It doesn't leave any marks on my skin or clothes either. I've tried a few of their scents, and Sea Salt and Cedar is my fave so far. But I'm gonna keep trying others to see if I find something even better. No matter the scent, they all work great for keeping the stink away. The little .35oz size is like a chapstick-sized deodorant. I keep one in my bag so it doesn't take up much room, and I can reapply if I need to. The small ones are also a good way to try out different scents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Sea Salt & Cedar because I wanted something that smells clean without feeling like I’m masking everything with heavy fragrance, and I don’t love aluminum in deodorants. Right away, the scent grabbed me — there’s a freshness from the sea salt, a touch of “ocean breeze” if you will, plus a woody cedar note that grounds it. It doesn’t smell flowery or sugary, more like a walk on a cliff by the sea mixed with woods. So if you like crisp / a bit masculine / earthy scents, this is up your alley.
