A: Although this unit does not incorporate a grill/griddle function, you will get similar results with either the air fry or roast function. Please preheat and use the highest temperature available on each function and monitor the time it is cooking. To ensure even cooking, kindly turn the hamburger or steak over once one side has been fully cooked.

Just add 4 quarter-pound patties that are 80% lean and 1 inch thick, cooking them at 375°F for about 10 to 15 minutes. For steaks, use 2 whole steaks weighing 8 oz. each, cooking them at 390°F for 10 to 20 minutes. We recommend checking on your food regularly throughout the cooking process.

Love ninja products. I have many ninja appliances. I recently purchased two of these air fryers a smaller one for times when we don’t need to use our larger ninja air fryer and a second one for my son because n college. The one we kept for home is a bit noisy. Luckily I own several ninja items and I know this is not the norm. I ordered a 3rd one to see if it makes the same noise. If so then there an issue and I’ll contact ninja directly

I think it’s great for one to two people! It makes some noise during the process, but it’s not annoying. The design is really nice, and all the food I’ve made with it has turned out juicy and perfectly cooked. The only thing to note is that the cooking times mentioned in the catalog aren’t always exact. Sometimes 10–15 minutes is enough even though it says 20 minutes. They also recommend checking and flipping the food after about 5 minutes, which I found helpful.

We recently moved and damaged our air fryer so we needed a new one. This one has been clutch and so easy to utilize for a quick toddler meal when needed! Been ideal for summer and having them home before the school year starts! I've done nuggets, fries, pizzas so far but I know we will get great use of this!

I’m wanted to love this because it cooked beautifully but it was so so loud! It sounded as if the fan was hitting the heating element. I’m so sad because we had our last ninja for many many years. I could’ve lived with the sound but it actually sounded as if it was going to blow up.
