Q: Roughly how long does it take to freeze for an average sized batch of liquid?
A: 20-30 mins but after that it will hold up to 12hrs
submitted byWildcard1974 - 1 year agoA: The colder the ingredients the fast it will slush up, but between 20/30 mins
submitted byWildcard1974 - 1 year agoA: The SLUSHi can freeze liquids into slush in about 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the ingredients, volume, and starting temperature. For best results, the liquid should include sugar.

Q: If I wanted to make a slushie using water and a zero sugar flavor drink enhancer like the kind you squirt in your water bottle what else would I have to add to make it a slushie?
A: Just this ingredient are enough use your favorite
submitted byJacklen - 15 days agoA: All inputs should have a minimum of 4% sugar. Insufficient sugar will hinder the proper freezing of a slush output. When using a low-sugar beverage, some sugar-free alternatives that can be employed include: Coconut, Sugar, Maple Syrup, Agave Syrup, Simple Syrup, and Honey.

submitted byJacklen - 15 days agoA: Using Gatorade in the Ninja Slushi FS301 is perfectly fine; just remember that all inputs should have a minimum of 4% sugar for an ideal slush.

Q: What is the consistency like for coke or pepsi icees? Icees at Sam's club are my favorite but the texture is different than a frozen drink at Mcdonalds. Which is it most like?
A: No issue it’s easy to make it
submitted byJacklen - 15 days agoA: The FS301 produces a chunky, spoon-worthy slush with fairly large ice crystals—think of the old-school, stand-alone slush machines—rather than a fine, pourable icy drink. If you prefer a smoother, more drinkable texture, use the lighter “Slush” preset; otherwise the default “Frozen Drink” cycle delivers that classic, coarse-crystal slush consistency.

Q: Can you use diet drinks?
A: Of course you can use it
submitted byJacklen - 15 days agoA: Diet drinks won’t slush properly in the SLUSHi FS301—its RapidChill system needs dissolved sugars in the mix to form the ice crystals that give you a slush texture. Zero-sugar beverages simply freeze into a solid or stay too runny, so you’ll need to add sugar (or use a regular, sugar-containing drink) for it to work as intended.
