Q: I see the only active ingredients are all a sunscreen?? Why are all the other beneficial ingredients "inactive"?

A: Ingredients listed as "active" on a product package are regulated by the U.S. government and they have to support a claim in order to be considered active. Our products do contain ingredients that have been thoroughly tested and do provide skin benefits. However, for regulatory purposes they do not meet the definition of an active ingredient and therefore are not listed that way on the package.

I bought this face moisturizer because the store was out of my regular product which I have used for many years - Olay Total 7. I liked that it was lightweight and the packaging was cute. I don’t know if this is designed to have no smell, but it does have a very faint scent that I have to smells weird. My biggest concern is this cream made my eyes burn and water!!!! No, I didn’t get it too close to my eyes. It took me a few days to realize it was the moisturizer. When I didn’t wear it, no problem. When I wore it, burning eyes. Horrible feeling when you work eight hours on the computer. I won’t buy this again and would caution anyone thinking of buying this product. I’m happy to say I’m back using my Olay Total 7 face moisturizer.

I have used Olay products for a decades. I was excited to use this cream, but it burns my eyes. I tried not using it too close to my eyes, but during the course of the day, it still gets to them. The basic Olay moisterizer with SPF 15 does not burn.

I have used OOO for over 50 years. At first I thought I used it too close to my eyes so I tried again. I'm very careful to stay away from my eyes. Nevertheless, still burning even after I was it off! So disappointed.
