terrible product. doesn't hold the charge, kid is so frustrated with this toy and target won't take it back. don't waste your money

I wish I read some of the review in here. Fair that it could fly for 5 mins due to its size/ weight, BUT IT NEEDS 1 HOUR TO CHARGE.

Battery only lasts 5 minutes. Son was very disappointed.

Not worth it. 70 minutes to charge for 5 minutes.

Buy it! My son loves it (5yo). Easy to use. The battery life isn’t great but isn’t terrible either. As long as it’s charged, it’s good for a kid.

Do not waste your money on this brand. My son was able to use this for about 15-20 minutes between charges before it broke and was thrown in the garbage.

My son was so excited to fly this plane, which we paid over $40 for in our local Target despite seeing it here online for $29.99. The first flight, it went up and flew fine for about 1 minute, we were keeping the plane at a low height (~6ft) as my son was getting used to flying it, when all of a sudden it went straight up and away from us, never to return (not user error). My son was seriously bummed and when I called the company to try to get a replacement they immediately (as if this happens frequently) told me to read the safety warning page 8 of the instructions where on the third to last line of text it says, "For indoor use only". So, despite the packaging showing the plane being flown in the outdoors, apparently this plane is only for use indoors and if it malfunctions and just flies away the company is not responsible. Worst experience! I knew Sharper Image was a not an entirely trustworthy brand, but this is it for me... I will never buy another Sharper Image product.

5 minute fly time is a tease, at least make the battery last long enough to get the hang of it! I wish I would’ve read reviews before buying. Don’t bother.

Christmas day, it went up and never came back.

I’ve got a very upset kiddo that spent his Christmas money on this. He wanted to be clear it’s a piece of junk and not worth your money.

Are you kidding me? 5 minute fly time? Went right back in the box and returned.

Bought it for my son as a Christmas gift he loved it! but only CON is battery only last for 5 MINUTES! how is he suppose to enjoy that..then it takes an HOUR to charge to ONLY USE IT FOR 5 MINUTES for the price that it is i don’t think that’s fair

-5 stars. Worked for maybe 30 minutes and want fly. We did not wreck it or hit ground hard. We’ve had it for 12 hours and charged it like stated in directions

It's small but powerful. Perfect for the thrill adventure kids that will show you all their stunts. It's battery operated so one less thing is busy moms need to plug in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that the Drone Xtreme Thunderbolt jet x2 was a cool item. Overall flies well and in my opinion was fairly easy to operate it. I would say this is a cool drone for beginners.
